The written work

Books & Publishing

My books, and the work of helping other authors bring theirs into the world.

Some ideas need more room than an essay can give them. My books let me stay with the questions that return in the journal: how we live, what shapes our attention, and how we build without losing ourselves in the work.

This page begins with my writing. It also introduces Dimando Publishing, the planned organization I’m developing to help other authors bring their work forward.

You Are Not A Machine

A grounded perspective on discipline, identity, and building a life that isn’t driven by noise.

A book about the space between useful work and constant output, and the importance of remaining a person within it.

The publishing organization · In development

Dimando Publishing

I want the work of publishing to make room for voices beyond my own.

Dimando Publishing is the planned organization being developed around that commitment: helping authors create written work that readers can return to and pass forward.

Dimando Press, the founding imprint

An imprint is the publishing name a group of books carries. Dimando Press is the founding imprint of Dimando Publishing, rooted in the existing work on faith, discipline, endurance, and perspective.

The organization is being developed to support the wider publishing program. The imprint gives its titles a shared publishing identity. This personal journal remains the home of my essays, field notes, and perspective as an author.

The publishing program is in development. Submissions and publishing services are not open. Books are not available to purchase here.
